hello china !

im in china baby !

chinas great so far. if i could understand what they say, i guess it would be so much better. its true that when you want to learn the language you need to go to the country. my chinese is much improved here.

i live in dorm now. my rooms quite big, i guess it looks more like small apartment cos i have everything in it. okay i dont have garden or pond like i do in my house in indonesia. i dont really like the closet actually, it doesnt have seat, it was just like a hole, something like that. next year im gonna move into room which has seat for the closet. those rooms are fully booked blarkh ! but overall the rooms fine for me :)

i clean up my own room. when you dont have roommate or your roommate hasnt come yet, you have to clean the room alone. thats exactly what happened with me few days ago. woah ! ive never been so proud of my self until ive finished mop the floor, clean the kitchen and bathroom in one day. and realized that im still alive :P ALL BY MY SELF ! my father was actually there. but he did nothing he was just taking pictures of me and said ''ah thats my daughter, look shes mopping the floor" i was like ''gosh ! i just wanna finish this as soon as i can !" by that time i was missing with my maid at home, i hope i could bring mbak neni here and asked her to do everything. i dont mind sharing room at her. (kidding !)

i guess theres good side in everything. i lost 1 kilo in a week.

why? even though i live in dorm which is exactly placed in university area. the university is just too big ! it takes me forever to go outside to find something to eat. actually they have like small bus in the university, so when youre too lazy to walk you can take the bus. but im not that lazy, so yea i just keep walking in sweat :P well sometimes i ride my friends bike. thats why i feel like im having muscle in my calf and thights. gisele bundchen, watch out ! :P

i already made my own friends yipii ! i am an international medical student, so i dont need to take language class first, those (foreign students) who want to take local medical class need that. but i came like few days too early. so i decided to join language class. there are 12 students in my class. 4 thai, 4 vietnamese, 1 indonesian, 1 british, 1 laos, 1 myanmar. i am the only indonesian, so i need to mingle with them. it was hard at first, really ! i mean ive never been that alone. but i survived, i guess :)

the foods here are too oily. i hate that. and they really like to add bamboo shots in every meal. its like wekkss ! i dont like the smell at all. it makes me dizzy. but i found the best la mien (its like hand pulled noodles, its hand made) and tofu (the tofus so soft, alil bit spicy sour salty) here. theyre perfect ! really. and the restaurants are so near from my university :9

i dont really drink mineral water here. cos they dont sell water in restaurants. we got soup almost every time we order food (in chinese restaurant) thats what chinese drink after or while hes eating. my friends and i, were not used to it. they usually bought juice or bubble tea after eating. i was doing the same thing, but i dont wanna get diabetic cos i over consume sugar. so i decided to bring mineral bottle when i go out or i buy mineral water :)

my mum and father kinda strict me with how much money i spend here. they said ive grown up and i need to take care everything by my self, including money management - thats the second hardest after time management. they give me (should be) enough money for one year. and if i can use them wisely, and i didnt spend them all. i can use the rest to travel or buy things i want.

and thats really hard ! i mean im a girl, and girls cant hardly help their passion for shopping. once i got 30 thousand rupiah top in mangga dua which is exactly made in china. but i dont know why ive never found 20 or 30 RMB tops here? huh huh huh ?! where the hell the got it? i went to shopping road here, i was looking for cheap-good quality dress or tops, but i found nothing. theyre all about 200 ish RMB. deuh ! its not branded (okay, its i-dont-know-if-it-is-popular chinese brand) you can even get like 100 thousand ish rupiahs tops in zara. someone please ! tell me where can i found cute and not-so-expensive tops in nanning.

i like the weather now. its around 23-24 degrees celsius :) you can wear anything you want.

i havent found any cute guys here LOL ! i havent met vic zhou or jackie chen yet :P

i need to open facebook !! china please !! unblocked facebook !!! i need to keep in touch with friends. i need to write something on my friends wall. i want to mock nana on her photo. i want to share my life here with the girls on thread. i want to hear hot gossip ! I NEED TO OPEN FACEBOOK !

ps. im trying to love china. you know ive never like china and all of their stuff. and its getting worse ever since my father decided to send me here. but the fact is that im here now :) in mainland, pursuing my dream, becoming a great doctor, learning the language, mingling with the people, inure the new culture, get new life. beside, its not that bad, dont worry im not going to suicide LOL
